June 2010:Decio

Decio is a grade 6 student at Holy Trinity. He has had a great deal of support from both his family and his fellow class mates during his seven years at Holy Trinity. We are very appreciative of Decio's effort during our cookie dough campaign.

February - 09: Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn is in grade 5 at W.H. Ballard School in Hamilton and worked very hard to sell 32 tubs of cookie dough and muffin mix to her family and family friends. She was thrilled to receive your cheque for $100 along with a framed certificate showing her achievement.

Our experience working with Ultimate Fundraising on our fundraiser was excellent. From my initial call for information to the time that our product arrived, someone was available and eager to help with any questions that came up. Our goal was originally to raise a couple of thousand dollars with the cookie dough/muffin mix sales but we were actually able to more than triple that goal. One of the reasons we succeeded was your suggestion of using a teacher challenge. We told students that if they sold at least 5 tubs of cookie dough or muffin mix they would be able to play a game of dodge ball against a team of their teachers. This incentive cost us nothing but a little time but it excited the kids so much that more than 160 students sold more than 5 tubs each! We ended up playing 8 games of teacher/student dodge ball and it was great fun for everyone.

Between the sales brochure being so clear and easy for the students to use and the product being nut free and safe for all of our students, this fundraiser really couldn’t miss. I have received very positive feedback from many parents and school staff regarding the great taste and easy preparation of each of the cookie and muffin flavours. You have a fabulous product and a great fundraising program. We look forward to working with Ultimate Fundraising again.

December - 08: Joshua Lee

-Joshua is 8 years old and attends Rocky Mountain Elem. in Elkford. He is a second year Novice on the Elk Valley Wild team. When he found out that the player that sold the most cookie dough won a Wii, he was on the band wagon. He said to me, "I want to win the Wii Mom. Please, please, please, please!!!" With that said, I was set on a mission for my kid. Josh went door to door for a few hours one day and sold about 30 boxes of cookies all by himself. He had a little speech and most people didn't turn him away. Then I went onto Facebook and sent all my contacts a message. I managed to sell another 80 or so boxes of cookies on Facebook alone. It's a great networking tool! Josh's Father sold another 76 boxes among his friends and family as well. Josh sold a total of 187 boxes of cookies and is just estatic that he won the Wii. He did not get to play with his Wii until he himself delivered most of the cookie dough. He loaded up a large work wagon and set off up the street to deliver the boxes he sold door-to-door. He is very proud of himself and now realizes how much work comes with wanting to win the Wii. Thank you Ultimate Fundraising and we look forward to our next fundraiser with you!
